Synopsis

An alien scientist walks into the Royal Ontario Museum and asks to see a paleontologist. The alien has evidence that a god — or at least a cosmic intelligence — has been engineering mass extinctions across multiple worlds simultaneously. A novel about science, faith, and what happens when the universe seems to have a purpose.
