Synopsis

In the third volume of The Book of the Long Sun, the humble augur Silk finds himself thrust into the role of political and spiritual leader as revolution erupts aboard the generation starship Whorl. As factions battle for control and the gods of the ship make increasingly erratic interventions, Silk must navigate warfare, prophecy, and his own doubts about his divine calling.
