Synopsis

In a surreal future Oakland where asking questions is socially taboo and genetically evolved animals walk among humans, private investigator Conrad Metcalf takes on a murder case that plunges him into a noir underworld of karma points, mind-altering drugs called "make," and a conspiracy that threatens to upend what little order remains.
