Synopsis

In this retelling of the Faust legend, a medieval scholar makes a deal with an alien intelligence that feeds him advanced scientific knowledge. As Faust introduces the Industrial Revolution centuries early, the technology brings not enlightenment but the horrors of modern warfare, pollution, and exploitation.
