Synopsis

Psychologist Joanna Lander studies near-death experiences at a Denver hospital, trying to discover what the brain is actually doing when people report tunnels of light and feelings of peace. When she volunteers to undergo simulated NDEs herself, her visions of the Titanic lead her toward a discovery more profound — and more disturbing — than she expected.
