Synopsis

The pilgrims on Hyperion confront the Time Tombs and the terrifying Shrike as an interstellar war engulfs the galaxy and the mysterious AI TechnoCore manipulates all sides for its own inscrutable purposes. Told partly through the dreams of a cybrid recreation of the poet John Keats, this sweeping sequel explores the nature of consciousness, time, and sacrifice on a cosmic scale.
