Synopsis

In this audacious metafictional satire, Spinrad presents a heroic fantasy novel called 'Lord of the Swastika,' purportedly written by an alternate-history Adolf Hitler who emigrated to America and became a pulp science fiction author. The nested narrative brilliantly exposes the fascist underpinnings lurking within much of conventional science fiction and fantasy literature.
