Synopsis

When the lion-maned alien Tully, a lone human, seeks refuge aboard the merchant ship The Pride of Chanur, captain Pyanfar Chanur and her all-female hani crew are thrust into a deadly interstellar conflict. Pursued by the ruthless kif who originally captured Tully, Pyanfar must navigate the complex politics of multiple alien species while protecting her unexpected passenger and her ship.
