Synopsis

When the two-mile-long corpse of God is discovered floating in the Atlantic Ocean, disgraced supertanker captain Anthony Van Horne is recruited by the Vatican to tow the divine remains to an Arctic tomb before decomposition sets in. This darkly satirical novel grapples with questions of faith, mortality, and meaning in a world that must confront the literal death of its Creator.
