Blindsight

Synopsis

When sixty-five thousand alien probes photograph the Earth and then burn up, a crew of radically modified humans is sent to investigate the source. Led by a vampire and crewed by a linguist with four personalities, a biologist who interfaces with machines, and a narrator who has had half his brain removed, they encounter an alien intelligence that challenges every assumption about consciousness.
