Synopsis

Captain Will Laurence of the British Navy captures a French ship carrying a rare dragon egg, which hatches and bonds with him. Forced to leave the navy for the Aerial Corps, Laurence and his dragon Temeraire enter the Napoleonic Wars from the air in this alternate history where dragons are the ultimate weapon of war.
