Synopsis

In a near-future America devastated by a catastrophic drought, society fractures as millions of refugees flee the parched West. A young woman trained in linguistics retreats to live with a Native American community in the Oregon wilderness, only to be drawn back into a world of political intrigue surrounding a failing space station.
