Synopsis

Set in a future Britain transformed by rising seas known as the Drowning, civilization slowly rebuilds under the iron grip of a powerful and repressive Church. When a young man with extraordinary empathic gifts emerges, he becomes both a beacon of hope and a target for the ecclesiastical authorities determined to stamp out heresy.
