Synopsis

Humanity's Last Age, ravaged by nineteen nuclear wars and an irreparably damaged gene pool, sends agents to abduct doomed passengers from historical air disasters — people who won't be missed — to seed a new civilization on an uncontaminated world. When crash investigator Bill Smith discovers a futuristic weapon left behind by time traveler Louise Baltimore, the two become entangled in a paradox that threatens to unravel time itself.
