Synopsis

A thousand years before the events of Dragonflight, Weyrwoman Moreta and her queen dragon Orlith face a crisis far deadlier than the parasitic Thread that falls from the sky: a devastating plague sweeping across Pern. With quarantines failing and Thread still falling, Moreta must devise a desperate plan involving time-travel and mass vaccination to save her world.
