Synopsis

In a far future galactic civilization, scholar Fassin Taak is sent to negotiate with the ancient, gas-giant-dwelling Dwellers for the coordinates of a secret wormhole network. As a devastating invasion fleet approaches his home system, Fassin navigates Dweller politics — beings who measure time in billions of years and find humans amusingly brief.
